Tricia Nguyen

PART 01.

Photographer.

She is a self-taught photographer born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

Living and observing amidst urban and natural environments, she has developed a passionate following for how layers of the world relate to each other through diverse scales and colors. She enjoys how people, places, and/or objects interact between each other; forming a distinctive style revealing or creating silent dialogue.

Her careful photography manifests as grounding yet grand, and vivid yet nostalgic—unifying dichotomies throughout.

Her works consist of both edited and "SOOC" (straight-out-of-camera) digital content with evolving and versatile original color gradings.

She has become enamored by film with the hands-on imaginative shooting process; as featured on KODAK's socials.

Furthermore, she has been an active participant in engaging within the digital and analog photo community as featured on Zines and other platforms.

Currently, she is a first-generation 2025 UC Berkeley Alumni. She hopes to continue learning about the world and documenting the art that comes along with it.

PART 02.

Writer.

A voyager between the two cosmos: the written and the observed.

She traverses between these realms on Earth ever since novels were introduced and National Geographic almanacs became a compass for her expeditions.

She ventures through a multitude of fields ranging from creative (poems, adaptations, reviews, journaling) to formal writing (long-form essays, reports, etc.). She dives into the seas of synthetic and immersive writing in order to document the world in all of our senses.

Away from the drawing board, you can find Tricia fired up in: card and board games, movies, hiking, history/current events, fashion, tech, and enjoying California life with friends.
